I hope you are well; I would just like to share something with you, which will inspire and motivate you and your team.

There are only 2 success plans available to Coaches, Trainers and Consultants and you’re on one of them, whether you know it or not!

Every Coach, Trainer and Consultant I know has spent some period of time in their career generating qualified sales leads the “hard” way, picking up the phone and developing relationships with perfect strangers.
This past week, I was telling a despondent and despairing client about the 2 Success Plans available to all Coaches, Trainers and Consultants. Did you know that there are just two success plans? Here they are: the LUMP-SUM plan and the INSTALMENT plan.

Let me explain how these two plans work. On your journey to success as a Coach, Trainer or Consultant, make no mistake; you will pay the price of picking up the phone to build relationships with perfect strangers. The question is how will you pay the price? Will you discipline yourself to spend as much time as required on the phone each day to develop 2 qualified opportunities? This is what I call the Instalment Plan.

Or, will you take the Lump Sum Plan? This is the plan where you burn up all your working capital messing around with various exotic marketing schemes, putting food for your table, and other money-wasting expenditures. Finally, your desperation FORCES you to get on the phone, build relationships, and make sales or go broke. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 100 times. There’s no way to be successful in this business without relentless commitment marketing. That is not my opinion that is based on watching and working with successful Coaches, Trainers and Consultants and seeing what works for them.

So, why is a relentless commitment to talking with strangers a necessary part of becoming successful?

Because becoming a successful Coach, Trainer or Consultant is not like starting a McDonald’s.. People don’t take your call or come running to your office with credit card in hand ready to buy just because you’ve suddenly started your business. This takes time! You first need to build a relationship with your prospects, gaining their trust and belief in your services. Then they will buy!

There’s no such thing as a no-sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client on Business Coaching, or he sells you on a reason he can’t. Either way, a sale is made. The only question is: who’s going to close, you or him. Now, BE RELENTLESS!”
